Connexions Nottinghamshire is the advice, support and guidance service for all young people (aged 13 to 19 years – sometimes up to 24 for young people with learning difficulties) in Nottingham City and Nottinghamshire County.
Connexions aims to help young people make informed and realistic decisions about their future and reduce the numbers of young people, who are NEET (Not in Education, Employment or Training).
Connexions Personal Advisers (PAs) based in schools, colleges, youth centres and high street 'one-stop shops' can give young people professional and confidential advice on a range of subjects from careers, jobs, training and education to health, money and housing. Connexions centres are based in all major towns in Nottinghamshire County and in Nottingham City.
To support the one-to-one service offered by the PA, Connexions also provides a comprehensive suite of web-based help for young people, parents, employers and professionals.

www.passportfolio.com/ is an interactive website which young people can use to find out more about themselves, get recognition for what they have achieved, and take control of their future. It will help them with their personal development as they make their choices.
